Dear Devotees,
The Mahotchava Festival (Kodiyetra Thiruvizhaa) will be celebrated at the Sri Kandaswamy Temple from Thursday, 21st of May 2026 (7th day of Vaihaasi) onwards. This grand 10-day festival will be celebrated daily, both in the mornings and in the evenings.

20/5 Preliminary Rituals
21/5 (1st Day) - Flag Raising Ceremony (Kodiyetram/Thuvaja Aarohanam); Commencement of Maha Yaaga Poojaa; Procession on the Gold Mayoora (Thanggamayil) Vaahanam (morning) and the Mayil Vaahanam (evening)
22/5 (2nd Day) - Special Poojaas; Procession on the Gaja Vaahanam
23/5 (3rd Day) - Special Poojaas; Procession on the Rishaba Vaahanam
24/5 (4th Day) - Special Poojaas; Procession on the Kaamadhenu Vaahanam
25/5 (5th Day) - Special Poojaas; Procession on the Kudhirai Vaahanam
26/5 (6th Day) - Special Poojaas; Procession on the Kailaasa Vaahanam
27/5 (7th Day) - Special Poojaas; Thirumanjam Festival (Manja Thiruvizhaa)
