Dear Devotees,
The Varalakshmi Viratham (Fast) will be observed at the Sri Kandaswamy Temple on Friday, 21st of August 2026 (4th day of Aavani) with special abishegam and poojaa for Sri Raajaraajesvari Ambaal, followed by Thiruvilakku Poojaa in the evening. Devotees are welcome to participate in this auspicious fast and receive the blessings of Sri Sakthi Vel Perumaan and Sri Raajaraajesvari Ambaal.
Note: Those who wish to participate in the Thiruvilakku Poojaa are requested to pay RM31/-, and register their name and natchatthiram at the Temple ticket counter before 16th of August 2026. Devotees participating in the Thiruvilakku Poojaa are required to bring only a tray of loose flowers. All other items will be provided by the Temple: - banana leaf, rice, kutthuvilakku, wick, oil, cloth (pattu), garland, kumkum, tumbler, spoon, prasaatham, kaalaanji, etc. Those participating in the Thiruvilakku Poojaa are requested to be at the Temple by 6.30 p.m.
