The Mahaa Sivaraatthiri Festival will be observed at the Sri Kandaswamy Temple on Sunday, 15th of February 2026 (3rd day of Maasi).

6.30 p.m. - Recital of Sivapuraanam

7.00 p.m. onwards - Devotional songs

9.00 p.m. - Ruthraabishegam

10.00 p.m. - First Yaama Poojaa

10.30 p.m. onwards - Bhajan

Monday:

12.00 a.m. - Ruthraabishegam

1.00 a.m. - Second Yaama Poojaa

1.30 a.m. - Recital of Sivapuraanam

2.00 a.m. - Ruthraabishegam

3.00 a.m. - Third Yaama Poojaa

3.30 a.m. - Snabana Abishegam

4.30 a.m. onwards - Fourth Yaama Poojaa

- Special Poojaa at Vasandha Mandapam

- Procession of Sri Mahaavalli Gajavalli Sametha Sri Mutthukkumaaraswami Perumaan around the inner courtyard of the Temple

- Theerttha Utchavam

- Distribution of Prasaatham.
