Dear Devotees,
The Navaraatthiri Festival will be observed at the Sri Kandaswamy Temple beginning with special abishegam for Sri Raajaraajesvari Ambaal at 10.00 a.m. on Monday, 22nd of September 2025 and continuing till Wednesday, 1st of October 2025, the day of Saraswathi Poojaa.
The Vijaya Thasami - Maanambu Festival will be observed in the evening on Thursday, 2nd of October 2025.
During the Navaraatthiri Festival days the daily evening poojaa will be at 6.00 p.m. followed by Special Poojaa for Sri Raajaraajesvari Ambaal at 6.30 p.m. Cultural programmes during the festival will be held from 7.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. daily.
Devotees are welcome to participate in this festival and obtain the gracious blessings of Lord Kaliyuga Varadhan Kantha Vel Perumaan and Sri Raajaraajesvari Ambaal.
Note: On Thursday, 2.10.2025, after morning poojaa at 6.30 a.m. there will be Vitthiyaarambam (Edu Thuvakkuthal) from 7.00 a.m. till 10.00 a.m. For further information, please contact the Chief Priest.
