Dear Devotees,
The Skantha Sashti Festival will be observed at the Sri Kandaswamy Temple from Wednesday, 22nd of October 2025 (5th day of Aippasi) to Tuesday, 28th of October 2025 (11th day of Aippasi). Devotees are welcome to participate in this auspicious festival and receive the blessings of Sri Valli Thevasenaa Sametha Shanmuha Subramaniya Perumaan.

22.10.2025 - First Ubayam
23.10.2025 - Second Ubayam
24.10.2025 - Third Ubayam
25.10.2025 - Fourth Ubayam
26.10.2025 - Visvarooba Tharisanam (Thirupperum Vadivam) - Fifth Ubayam
27.10.2025 - Soora Sanggaaram Festival - Sixth Ubayam
28.10.2025 - Thirukkalyaanam Festival - Seventh Ubayam
31.10.2025 - Vairavar Ponggal
Note:
1.) During the Skantha Sashti festive days, the morning poojaa will be held at 6.30 a.m.
2.) Lord Shanmuha Perumaan accompanied by Valli and Thevasenaa, will be seated in front of the Vasantha Mandapam, during these days, and Skantha Sashti Kavasam will be recited both in the morning and evening, and Soorapanman Vadhai Padalam will be read at 1.00 p.m. Devotees who would like to contribute milk, young coconut, curd, ghee, sugar cane, fruits (especially jackfruit), honey and flowers for abishegam, poojaa and archanai are requested to give them at the temple before 3.00 p.m. daily.
* Sankatpam (wearing of tharppai ring) for Viradhakaarar will take place at 7.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025 and 4.30 p.m. on Monday, 27th October 2025.
